William Faulkner: The Legacy Lives On

The legacy of southern writer William Faulkner can be found in Oxford at his old home, Rowan Oak.
"He brought modern literature to the South," Faulkner enthusiast and Rowan Oak curator Bill Griffith said. "Before William Faulkner started writing, no one had written a modern novel in the South."
"He opened the door for southern writers to write about their South."
